Kitchens and Tilingr

Waterloo School, Blackpool.

Waterloo is a local primary academy with approximately 600 pupils. During Summer 2015 we refurbished three toilet blocks after we successfully completed the refurbishment of four toilet blocks in the Summer of 2013.

These works included a full strip out and replacement of cubicles, urinals, worktops, basins, WCs, extract fans, hand dryers and safety flooring in the toilet blocks; we were also asked to fit new suspended ceilings and lighting grids in the bathrooms.

Upon completion, the electrics were tested and an NICEIC electrical installation certificate was issued detailing the safety of the works carried out.

Walker Fire Offices, Preston.

Walker Fire is situated in an industrial unit in Preston, Lancashire. The works were undertaken in Autumn 2014.

They included the removal of the trunking, skirting boards and radiators from the existing stud walls. We also stripped out the suspended ceiling and ran the same ceiling height throughout the whole building. We ran the electric in ducting above the new ceiling and providing lighting to the new office area created.

We constructed an insulated metal stud wall from the existing mezzanine floor to roof height with fire lined boards on either side. We formed two enclosed office areas using glass screens and doors.
